Overview of Services

Welcome to the University at Buffalo Chemistry Instrument Center (UBCIC)


Located on the third floor of the Natural Sciences Complex, UBCIC supports research and education through access to advanced analytical instrumentation, expert training, and custom sample analysis. 

We serve UB researchers, students, and professionals within our collaborative community with services including:

  • Instrument training and shared access
  • Method development and sample analysis
  • Guidance on instrument theory and operation

Our work is supported by the National Science Foundation, UB’s College of Arts and Sciences, the Office of the Vice President for Research, and generous alumni and community contributions.
