(hide this warning on this page)This facility provides training and use on a variety of optical equipment for both the University and external users including microscopes, flow cytometers, gel imagers, and qPCR systems. The equipment is available for all to use, and I am happy to consult any users on optimizing the equipment for their experiments, as well as analyzing generated data. For a full list of current equipment, including equipment details, please visit our public webpage.
Most facility equipment can be scheduled directly through the calendars on the Schedule Equipment tab. From this tab, any equipment with an associated "Initiate Training" button will require users to be trained prior to being able to make reservations, simply click the Initiate Training button to start a training request. Once trained, users will be given permission to schedule the equipment directly.
Any requests that directly involve staff schedules, including trainings, consultations, cell sorting, and image analysis assistance, are done through the Request Services tab. Staff time cannot be booked directly.
