Welcome to the University at Buffalo Center for the Arts (UBCFA), Western New York’s premier multidisciplinary arts center. With a welcoming atmosphere and flexible, versatile spaces, UBCFA is an ideal destination for hosting events and performances of all sizes, accommodating intimate gatherings of 20 to more than 1,750 guests. Our wide range of activities includes university and community events, artistic performances, exhibitions, and nationally touring productions.
UBCFA houses three theaters, the Mainstage, Drama Theatre, and Black Box Theatre, along with a screening room and a spectacular Atrium. A part of the Buffalo cultural landscape for more than 30 years, UBCFA has welcomed over 4 million visitors, with approximately 150,000 guests experiencing the arts each year.
Reservations are available for university departments and groups, community organizations and commercial presenters. To reserve space at the UBCFA please complete and submit the online Rental Request Form.

UBCFA's award-winning production team also provides media production services for UBCFA clients, including UB departments and groups, and UBCFA venue-based activities with community organizations and presenters.
