Canon Stroke & Vascular Research Center

Overview of Services

The world-renowned University at Buffalo Canon Stroke & Vascular Research Center focuses on research related to the diagnosis and treatment of vascular disease through minimally invasive image-guided interventions, improved imaging modalities and devices, and better understanding of hemodynamics. The overall goal is to have innovations emerging from the center quickly translated into clinical practice and implemented by industry so that they may directly benefit patients. Our center conducts feasibility through GLP-compliant in vivo studies and can assist with protocol and model design development. We also operate a Stratasys J750 anatomical 3D printer to generate patient specific vascular and spine models for research.
